The Hiking Trip is one of Kludoku's 23 crime scenes. Someone has been murdered, and every suspect must be placed back on the map — one per row, one per column — using nothing but testimony and logic. Whoever ends up alone with the victim is the killer.
Rooms you will investigate: trailhead, summit, forestpath, campsite, riverbank, meadow, cave, rangerstation, overlook.
Furniture and features that appear in clues: tent, campfire, boulder, shrub, tree, bear, crate, lamp, desk, radio. Blockers occupy squares, seats and beds can hold a suspect, and wall pieces anchor "beside" testimonies.
The Hiking Trip appears in free practice cases and rotates through the shared daily cases at five difficulties, from a 5×5 beginner grid to a 9×9 expert case that may include a lying accomplice.
