Every day at midnight UTC, every detective in the world receives the same five cases — beginner, easy, medium, hard and expert. Same boards, same clues, same killer. That's the spine of Kludoku's competition: when you beat a daily in eight minutes, that time means something, because everyone else faced the same room.
Beginner dailies are compact 5×5 scenes; the ladder rises through larger grids to 9×9 expert cases that may carry a lying accomplice or a motive layer. You don't have to climb it all at once — solving any daily keeps your streak alive, and streaks are tracked per player, not per difficulty.
Solving earns points, and points earn detective ranks — Recruit up through Master Detective — which unlock the hardest difficulties. Points also feed a weekly race that resets every week, so newcomers are never permanently behind the veterans: every Monday the ladder is winnable again.
Each daily case has a global leaderboard; add friends to carve out a private one, or form a team with an invite code and compete as a squad. Guests rank too — you don't need an account to appear on today's board, though an account keeps your streaks and stats across devices.
Beyond the dailies, time-attack mode is pure speed: race the clock on fresh cases and chase best-time boards. It's a separate game list, so your careful daily solves and your reckless speedruns never mix.
